I have just posted my response to your blog and don’t seem to be able to find where the comments are posted on the blog? How do I find your response and the comments?

    • Barbara

Hi Marla, and thank you for reading/subscribing to my blog. I’m so sorry for not responding to your post. I actually stopped taking comments on my blog for a few years, and accidentally missed some of the older comments. Now that I’ve retired, I have a little more time on my hands for responding to comments. But even as a retired physician, I have to be careful about giving specific recommendations, or responses that could be construed as treatment or opinion regarding specific conditions. Again, sorry for the delay in responding to your comment.

Hope that you’re staying safe and well!
Gout is one of the most painful foot (and joint) related conditions you can experience. It can often cause swelling, redness and intense aching. Not many people realize it’s actually a form of arthritis and that also, once diagnosed it can be simple to treat.
In terms of foot health, understanding Gout and knowing how to treat it can be very helpful (and easy) I’d like to show you how.
Formerly I worked within health and social care, though lately I’ve become a freelance writer, this is a subject that’s close to my heart, and it’d be great to share some of my knowledge on the topic with you.
I’d love to write an article for [drbarbarabergin.com] on spotting, diagnosing and treating Gout and other foot related conditions. I was looking at [https://drbarbarabergin.com/decrease-pain-from-knee-arthritis/] while researching an article and it crossed my mind that your audience would welcome a blog post on this idea because having healthy, happy feet means you can walk on air! All I’d ask for in return is a mention of a site I’ve worked on before within the resources.
I’d also be happy to write around any other ideas you had too. Of course, the article will be tailored to your existing content and fully referenced for accuracy.
Would it be OK to send you an article?
    Kindest regards,
    Jennifer

      Jennifer,
Thank you for your interest in my blog. I used to accept guest posts but had to discontinue. It became a little complicated. I hope you will continue to subscribe and follow my posts. I’m always happy to “approve” your comments, so my subscribers might have the option to read what you have to say!

    Hi Barbara,

It’s been a while…. Just wanted to tell you how much I love “Whistlin Train” – really liked it the first time I heard it. Instant classic!

I’ve really come to like “Possum in the corn” a lot too. First time I heard that one I didn’t know what to think, but now I listen whenever I wanna channel my inner hillbilly. Which is often evidently.

Your published repertoire is an inspiration to me. Do you have any plans for your next album?

I’ve got seven songs in the can, but I haven’t found a good studio to produce them yet.

Cheri and I are living in Asheville as much as we can. We go back to Round Mountain Texas because we have to see the little grand girls.

Dave, wow! I can’t believe I missed this. I think you and I have already texted or facebook messaged. But I’ll answer here as well. I’m so glad you like my tunes. I really learned to play the guitar back in high school with you, Andy and our group of musicians. Andy taught me Travis finger picking. Despite my ALS, I am still composing songs. I have someone else singing them for me, which ain’t easy to do, not because she can’t sing them, but because giving that up has been hard. I’m also making music videos out of my music, so please check out my youtube channel. I look forward to hearing what you think of them.
