We’ve been brainwashed into working through pain. It’s noble. Remember the coaching adage, “No pain, no gain.” I’m the first to say that there are some instances when you have to work through pain…like when you need to run from the saber-toothed tiger even though you sprained your ankle. CRAMPS
I have been meaning to write about this for over a year because I’ve been giving this advice on the phone, in the office and over the Internet, so it’s just time to put it down on paper. WE CHANGE AFTER 40!
Ugh! It’s a forgone conclusion, and there’s not much you can do about it. We change after 40, and even more so after 50! Most of the changes are predetermined by your genes, and there’s little you can do to change that. Thank you mom and dad.
